Alcohol stolen from Thurso supermarket

POLICE are seeking information in relation to a theft of alcohol from a shop in Thurso.

Three bottles of vodka and two bottles of amaretto style liqueur were stolen from the Co-op on Meadow Lane in the town at about 12.25pm on Thursday.

Officers are keen to speak to a man seen in the area, described as being in his late teens or early 20s.

He had a skinny build and was wearing a dark grey hooded top with dark trousers and tan shoes. He was carrying a dark grey holdall bag.

Constable Alex Brooks said: "I would urge anyone who has information about this theft or who recognises the man described to contact us.

"Any information can be passed to police in Thurso by calling 101 and quoting reference NJ6924/17.
