Bible stories, dance, movie-making and sports were on offer as part of the annual Pulteneytown and Thrumster Church holiday club in Wick last week.

A total of 79 children attended the morning sessions, which taught who Jesus is, based on the miracles recorded in the Bible. There was also a fun activity afternoon, and a trip to Dunnet beach and forest.

The week concluded with a celebration on Sunday night to show family and friends all that the children had enjoyed. The week was supported by a team of volunteers both from and connected with the church.

Rob Petersen, mission development worker for Pulteneytown and Thrumster Church, said: “There were all sorts of fun activities and learning for the children, and they were an absolute joy to be with.

"We consider ourselves privileged and blessed to serve our local community in such a fun way. I pray this week will be remembered with fond memories by all the children.”
