Mrs Forbes died three years ago and a fundraiser had been planned sometime ago, but Covid stopped it going ahead. A raffle and malt whisky tasting was able to be held in the Nethercliffe Hotel recently to raise money. The hotel kindly donated the venue and snacks on the night to soak up the whisky.

Daughter Alison Duncan, Haster, and her husband George, brother Kenneth and his partner Catriona Macdonald were amazed at the generosity shown from family and friends. A cheque has now been presented to the local Marie Curie fundraising group.
