Police Scotland charge 45-year-old after early morning car fire near Thurso

A 45-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with a car fire near Thurso this morning.

An attempt was made to set the car alight in MacKenzie Terrace in Westfield between Tuesday, April 8, and Wednesday, April 9.

Then, around 4am this morning (Thursday) the car was fully set ablaze.

A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal and the man is expected to appear at court at a later date.
