SWANSON - Peacefully in her home with family, on Wednesday, 24th August, 2022, Nessie (née Ainslie), aged 96 years. Dearly beloved wife of the late Finlay (bus inspector), a wonderful mum to Brian, Dennis, Annette and Maureen, a very dear mother-in-law to Eileen, Pam, Ian and Dougie and a darling granny and great-granny to her 17 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A loving sister to the late Margaret Bruce, kind sister-in-law, loved by all her extended family, friends and neighbours throughout her long and happy life. Funeral service within Thurso West Church, to which all are welcome, today, Wednesday, 31st August, service commencing at 11.00 am, thereafter to Thurso Cemetery. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given in aid of local charities which Nessie supported over the years. Well lived and well loved.
