POCKETT - Peacefully, in Caithness General Hospital, Wick on Wednesday, 27th July, 2022, Raymond (Ray), aged 82 years, of the New Bungalow, Borrowston, Thrumster. Beloved husband of Gill, much loved step dad of Teresa, Karen and Chris, step grandad to Louise, James, Lauren and Lewis. A dear step father-in-law and friend to many. Special thanks to staff in Caithness General Hospital, home carers, district nurses, friends and neighbours for the care Ray received during his protracted illness. Funeral service within Inverness Crematorium on Tuesday, 9th August, service commencing at 12 noon. This will be followed by a gathering in the Norseman Hotel, Wick on Wednesday, 10th August at 2pm. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be given at the service in aid of Diabetes UK.
