O'BRIEN - It is with deep sadness that we announce the death of David Anderson O'Brien (founder of O'Brien Construction Ltd, Thurso), aged 87 years, of 154 Portskerra. He peacefully passed away on Saturday, 3rd December, 2022 in Dunbar Hospital, Thurso, surrounded by his loving family. He was a devoted husband of 63 years to Lal, an inspiring dad to Lynda, David, John, Jacqueline, Lizzie and Mark, a dear father-in-law, an extremely proud grandad and great-grandad, a much loved brother, uncle, grand-uncle and friend to many. Funeral service within Strathy Church of Scotland on Tuesday, 13th December, service commencing at 12 noon, thereafter to Strathy Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only. If desired, donations may be given to Dunbar Hospital Palliative Care Fund.
