FINLAYSON Peacefully, in Riverside Care Home, Katherine Calder, joint founder of the Caithness Family History Society and an active volunteer in her community. Katherine had a good life, working as a midwife, nurse and theatre sister, and in retirement as a supporter of many local organisations. A celebration of Katherine's life will be held in Ormlie Lodge Service Rooms, Thurso on Wednesday, 26th March, 2025, service commencing at 11am, to which all friends are respectfully invited. Family flowers only please. Donations, if desired, may be given at the service in aid of Macmillan Nurses.
