DUNNETT - It is with great sadness we announce the very sudden passing of George Coghill Dunnett, on Friday, 21st May, 2021, aged 67 years. Loving partner of Fiona. Devoted husband to the late Alison. Dearly loved dad to George and Sinclair, father-in-law to Julie and Veronica, much loved grandad to Kieran, Declan, Hannah, Jessica and Findlay. Cherished brother, brother-in-law, uncle, cousin and friend to so many. He will be very sadly missed. Unfortunately, due to current restrictions, the funeral service has to be private but for anyone wishing to pay their last respects, George will leave Ormlie Lodge, Thurso on the evening of Monday, 31st May at 5.45pm and travel down Princes Street, Sir John's Square, Sir George's Street and then left towards Castletown, Bower and a final trip to where he was brought up in Ackergill, before arriving at Wick St. Fergus Church. At approximately 7.40pm, the cortège will leave the church and travel along High Street, Bridge Street, River Street, Harbour Quay and one last stop at Dunnett House, before his final run down the A9 to Inverness Crematorium on Tuesday.
