BRUCE - It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Euphemia (Effie) née Mackay, in Pentland View Nursing Home, on Tuesday, 22nd March, 2022, formerly of 7 River View, Thurso. Devoted wife of the late David, much loved mum of Arlene and Fiona. Dear mother-in-law of Stewart and Stephen, loving gran to David, Michael, Alastair and Emma, doting great-gran to Zara and Sophia, and a very dear sister to Rosemary. Funeral service within Ormlie Lodge Service Rooms on Friday, 1st April, service commencing at 1.00 p.m., thereafter to Wick Cemetery, arriving approximately 2.00 p.m. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, may be given in aid of Chest, Heart and Stroke Scotland.
