BARNES - Peacefully, in Raigmore Hospital, on Tuesday, 2nd August, 2022, after a long illness, Eric, aged 89 years. Formerly of Burnside, Thurso. Devoted husband of Jeanette, a dearly loved father to Carol and David and father-in-law to Sharon. A beloved Pop to David Jnr, Frances, Bethany, Rhian and Ashlynn, step-grandad to Hollie and Rhea, great-grandfather to Ryker, Lillian and Ronan and a dear friend to many. A celebration of his life is to be held on Friday, 19th August, 2022, at Inverness Crematorium at 2pm; thereafter there will be a gathering at the Loch Ness Country House Hotel, from 3pm.
