YOUNG (Dingwall and Portmahomack) - Susan and Ian and families, would like to offer their sincere thanks to all relatives, friends, former colleagues and neighbours for the many messages of condolence received by letter, telephone and card in their very sudden and sad loss of their dad, Malcolm. They also wish to give their thanks for the care provided by the doctors and staff at Dingwall Health Centre, the Marie Curie nurses and in particular to the nursing staff and doctors at Highland Hospice for the compassion and kindness shown, not only to Malcolm, but to the family as a whole. Thank you to the many who attended outside the church, including those from the Rotary and the Accordion and Fiddle Club and in particular to the representation from the local farming community for a beautiful and fitting farmers' farewell. Special mention to Garry Campbell for having organised this. Thank you to Piper Dougie Watson for his beautiful playing outside the church and at the graveside, to the Rev. Bruce Dempsey for conducting the service and to the Castle Hotel, Portmahomack for the refreshments. To all at D Gunn Funeral Directors, in particular Stacey, for her professionalism and kindness with the funeral arrangements. Finally, a thank you to Castle Gardens Care Home where our mum, Marion, continues to be looked after by the wonderful staff team there; they have treated the loss of a dad and husband in our family with such understanding and love. A total of £400 was raised for the Highland Hospice.
