SWANSON - The family of the late Nessie Swanson wish to extend their warmest thanks to all those who have supported them at this sad time. Their heartfelt gratitude goes to Nessie's superb carers, nurses, neighbours and friends; to Rev. David Macartney whose well chosen words were so moving and uplifting; to Buds 'n' Blooms for their outstanding floral arrangements; to the Pentland Hotel for their excellent catering and to everyone who sent cards, flowers, messages and baking: they are grateful to you all. Thank you to Sinclair Dunnett and the team for their kind, patient and impeccable help throughout and a special thanks to Brandon McPhee for his memorable musical tribute to Nessie, both in the church and at the graveside. The generous donations of £1,167.20 will be shared with local charities close to Nessie's heart.
