SUTHERLAND

SUTHERLAND - The family of the late James H. Sutherland (Jim) of Reay, would like to express their deepest, heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has taken time to provide support and expressions of sympathy at the sad time of Jim's passing. During his year of illness, he was well cared for by the medical teams at Riverbank Surgery, Raigmore Hospital, Caithness General Hospital and community nurses who all provided him with outstanding care and attention. The family would also like to show their appreciation to Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their professional and dignified service. Special thanks go to Rev. D. McCartney for his comforting service and Mrs L. Sinclair for her thoughtful music; Mrs F. Macintosh and Mr J. Foubister for their eulogy; Capt. M. Macdonald for his powerful presentation of piping and leading Jim to his final rest place in Reay Cemetery and to Buds 'n' Blooms for the lovely floral tributes. To all invited guests who attended the service and for the large group who gathered at the graveside to pay their last respects to Jim. Thanks to Reay Golf Club for facilitating the welcoming hospitality supplied by Ms C. Mackay. Finally, a huge thank you to all who kindly donated, in person and by post, the sum of £1000.00 to be gifted to Macmillan Cancer Support. The family are overwhelmed by the many gestures of sympathy in their time of sorrow; they are all very much appreciated. Thank you to all from the bottom of our hearts. Calum, Lucinda and Ann.
