O'BRIEN - The family of the late David O'Brien from Portskerra would like to express their sincere thanks for the kind messages of sympathy and comforting cards received following his death on 3rd December, 2022. Special thanks and appreciation to district nursing staff and to all who cared for David at The Dunbar Palliative Care Unit in Thurso and at the Caithness General Hospital in Wick. Sincere thanks is also due to Rev. Heather Stewart who conducted the fitting funeral service; to the support and professionalism of Dunnett's Funeral Directors and to The Halladale Inn for the refreshments that followed. Thanks too to all who attended David's funeral in Strathy; the colleagues who took part in the procession of OBC vehicles on the day and for the generous donations in aid of Dunbar Palliative Care.
