MACKAY - The family of Liam Gordon would like to sincerely thank all who have expressed their sympathies at this extremely heartbreaking time. Grateful thanks to the emergency services and those who attended the scene of the accident and treated Liam with dignity and respect; to all at Dunnett's Funeral Directors for the care, support and attention to detail, to ensure Liam's funeral went "just right". Special thanks to humanist celebrant, Lindsay Morrison, for her beautiful remembrance of Liam and to Michael Gray for his loving, personal words and memories; the Northern Sands Hotel for the use of the marquee and the refreshments; the Highland Pilgrims MCC for the respectful show of support; the Mackays of Rattar Farm for the use of the field; Sandra at Flower Daze for the flowers; Thurso Tesco for the butteries and Castletown Butchers for the pastries. Heartfelt thanks to all Liam's friends who attended his funeral to show their respects and to all, who at some point during his 21 years, made him smile! A generous sum of £2710.00 was collected and will be donated in Liam's memory to The Archie Foundation & CHAS (Children's Hospices across Scotland).
