MACKAY - Donald, Alison, John, Anne and the grandchildren would like to thank everyone for their kind expressions of sympathy, cards, flowers and baking received following the sad loss of Margaret. Special thanks to the staff of Dunbar Hospital and Pentland View Care Home, for the care, attention and affection shown to Margaret during her stay with them. Donald is especially grateful to both to have been given as much personal access to Margaret as these difficult times permitted. Latterly, it was the only meaningful contact that remained for them both. Thanks to Rev. David Malcolm for his comforting words during his home visit and the services in Halkirk and Westerdale Church of Scotland and at the graveside in Latheron. Thanks to all those who came to pay their respects at both services. Also, thanks to the following; Fiona and staff of the River Bothy Restaurant, Berriedale, for provision of the catering in the Latheron Hall following the committal. Dunnett's Funeral Directors for their sympathetic and efficient organisation of all the arrangements. Jan Sutherland of Sutherland Floristry, Wick for her amazing skill in designing and creating the individual family floral tributes depicting many of Margaret's lifelong interests. Finally, thanks to all those who donated the sum of £808.98 to be forwarded to Alzheimer Scotland to be used to fund research into the cause, prevention and treatment of such a terrible disease.
