HARROLD - Norma and family would like to thank all relatives, friends and neighbours for the kind expressions of sympathy shown to them following their sad loss of John. Thanks to Rev John Nugent for his comforting service, Clair Harper and Son for their efficient funeral arrangements and the Mackays Hotel for the refreshments. A big thanks to John's ex comrades and friends from Queen's Own Highlanders regiment and association who attended and helped lay him to his final resting place. Sincere thanks to all staff at Town and County Hospital, Wick for their loving care given to John and the family over the last three months. Finally, thanks to all who paid their last respects at the church and graveside. Donations totalling £2200 will be given to Town and County Hospital and Poppy Scotland.
