BURKE - Peggy, Helen and the family of the late John wish to express their sincere thanks to everyone for their kindness by calls, cards, flowers and baking following their very sad loss. Grateful thanks also to staff on the Rosebank Wing, Caithness General Hospital and district nurses for their exceptional care and attention. Sincere thanks to George Dunnett for his attentive, professional services, to Rev. John Nugent for his warm and poignant service, to Dennis Lundie for his kind words and to Mackays Hotel for catering. Special thanks to John's closest friends, and Davy Dunbar in particular, who were so supportive over the past few months and to Willie and Hannah for everything they have done to help. The attendance at church and graveside acknowledged the high regard in which John was held and the family extend their gratitude to all who came from near and far to attend the services and to Brethren for a fitting send-off. Their grateful thanks to everyone for donations amounting to £2,382 which will be shared between Rosebank Wing and East of Caithness District Nurses Fund.
