The days have been very changeable lately. There is a marked difference in the weather. The temperatures have dropped and the winds are picking up.
In this northeast part of Scotland there is a special elemental quality that is hard to describe. You feel on the edge of the world.
The other night I could not fall asleep. Rather than take my phone out…I pulled out my sketchbook and drew a rose I had picked outside my front door.
