DE LA MOTHE - Dr. Michael De La Mothe, aged 89 years, late of Halkirk, died 22nd October, 2014, in Seaview Nursing Home, Wick, dear husband of Jean for 47 years. Cremated in Inverness on 29th October. Sadly missed.
WATERS - Peacefully, in the care of the Highland Hospice, Inverness, on 21st October, 2014, Margaret Elizabeth (Bettine), nee Angus, aged 80 years, Sandalwood Avenue, Milton of Leys, Inverness, formerly of Caithness. Beloved wife of the late Captain Danny Waters, much loved mum of James, Shona and Ian, doting grandma of Callum, Kyla, Angus and Alexandra, dear mother-in-law of Fiona and a loving sister of Barrogill and John. A funeral service was held on Friday, 24th October, in D. Chisholm & Sons' Funeral Home, Huntly Street, Inverness, followed by an interment in Canisbay Cemetery. Donations, if desired, to the Highland Hospice may be forwarded to the Funeral Directors.
GOW - Peacefully, at Riverside Care Home, Wick, on Sunday, 26th October, 2014, Alexander Gow (Sandy), aged 94 years, beloved husband of the late Maisie (nee Dunnett), Avonashir, The Shore, Wick, loving father, father-in-law, grandad and great-grandad. Funeral private at his own request.
OAG - Peacefully, at his partner's home in Lossiemouth, on Tuesday 21st October, 2014, David Alexander Oag, aged 56 years. Private cremation as his own request. Deeply missed.
SMITH - At Town and County Hospital, Wick, on Sunday, 26th October, 2014, Liam Smith (ex fisherman), dearly loved husband of Pat (nee Thomas), Riverbank, The Shore, Wick, loving father of Gordon and the late Graham, dear father-in-law, grandad, brother-in-law and uncle. Funeral from Sinclair's Rest Rooms, Macarthur Street, Wick, on Saturday, 1st November, service commencing at 2.00pm, thereafter to Wick Cemetery. All friends respectfully invited. Family flowers only please but donations, if desired, to R.N.M.D.S.F. and Macmillan Nurses; collection at Rest Room door.
