Team spokeswoman Siony Mackintosh says it was a terrific performance from the squad. The trip would not have been possible without very generous sponsorship and funding towards transport and accommodation. A huge thanks to Northlink Ferries and “Funding from Scottish Power renewables” Halsary Windfarm, distributed by Caithness Community Fund. Thanks also to the hosts – Orkney Amateur Swimming Club – for a fabulous, if incredibly hot – weekend of swimming.
