Wick Old Stagers go nine points clear in winter shooting league

Round 14 of Caithness Small Bore Rifle Association’s winter league had five shooters with the maximum score of 100 – S Nicolson and D Simpson (Wick Old Stagers), J Henderson (Watten) and S Webster (Stirkoke), all in Division One, and S Henderson (Watten) in Division Two.

Wick Old Stagers A are now leading Pentland A by nine points at the top of Division One, while Wick Old Stagers B are a point ahead of Dufftown A in Division Two.

Dingwall have moved into first position over Halkirk B in Division Three, with both teams on 24 points but with Dingwall having the better aggregate. The Division Four leaders Keiss stretched their lead over Halkirk C to four points.

Dufftown B remain top of Division Five, leading Stirkoke D by a point, while the Division Six leaders Westfield C are four points clear of Watten D.

The Junior Team League sees Westfield D in first position, leading Halkirk E by four points.
