Wick and District Darts League: First defeat of season for second division leaders





Second division leaders Smiddy “3” were beaten for the first time this season in Wick and District Darts League as they went down 5-3 to Seaforth “B”.

Reigning champions Seaview maintained their 100 per cent record in the top flight by beating bottom side Queen’s 8-0.

There were also wins this week for Harper’s “B”, Seaforth, Old Smiddy Inn, Harper’s “C”, Mountain Dew 7, Comm and Smiddy “4”.

The league singles for both divisions are scheduled for next Tuesday (February 4) at Harper’s Bar and Function Suite. Players should be ready to toe the oche at 7.45pm.

Results – Division One: Seaview 8, Queen’s 0; RBL 3, Harper’s “B” 5; Castletown Poachers 2, Seaforth 6; Old Smiddy Inn 5, Park 3.

Division Two: Camps 0, Harper’s “C” 8; Seaforth ladies 1, Mountain Dew 7; Seaforth “B” 5, Smiddy “3” 3; Seaforth “C” 2, Comm 6; Queen’s “B” 2, Smiddy “4” 6.
