Saturday's North Caledonian League match between Orkney and Thurso has been called off after the Vikings were unable to raise a team.

Thurso manager Stevie Reid had warned during the week that some of his players had misgivings about making the trip across the Pentland Firth amid the coronavirus restrictions. It is understood their concerns centred on transport issues and the lack of access to changing facilities.

Reid said he would respect the decision of any players who opted not to travel.
