TWELVE teams, with four shooters per team, have entered the Caithness Small-bore Rifle Association’s competition for the Portland Bowl.

Each team member is required to shoot two cards in the knockout, postal part (rounds one and two) of the competition and the four surviving teams will subsequently meet in a shoulder-to-shoulder final where two cards will again be returned by each competitor.

The draw for round two, with cards due to be shot before January 9, is: Halkirk "A" v Stirkoke "A", Watten v Pentland, Westfield "B" v Halkirk "B", Stagers "A" v Westfield "A".
