Rain failed to dampen spirits at the Open Show held by the Caithness Branch of the Pony Club at Bilbster this month.

Competitors enjoyed a mix of weather conditions throughout the day including some lovely sunny spells.

Judges for the day were Sheila Stewart, working hunter, Susie Noble, ridden, Jacqueline Munro, handy pony, PC pony, young handlers, and Rosie Buchanan, show jumping.

The judges were all very impressed with the standard of ponies and riders which made it a tough day for them.

The Pony Club committee were indebted to Mr and Mrs Miller, of Netherton Farm, for hosting the show as well as all the helpers throughout the day who made it run smoothly.
