Great weather conditions helped make the Christmas fun jumping day held by Caithness Riding Club a success.

There were lots of clear rounds and riders pulled out all the stops to set speedy times in the jump-offs. The top score also proved exciting with competitors trying to achieve the maximum points, particularly in the 90cm class. Mary Miller and Poppy put in an amazing performance, gaining a whopping 925 points to secure first place.

The venue for the day was the indoor school, Halkirk, with the course, designed by Frances Sutherland, set up in the outdoor arena.
