Sammie and Ryan make it a family double in memorial pairs

Sammie Campbell (Smiddy “4”) won Wick and District Darts League’s Alice Coghill Memorial Cup after a 3-1 victory over Alison Tait (Seaforth “B”).

Sammie had to work hard to earn it as Alison hit a 180, a 14-dart leg and a 96 checkout.

Sammie’s brother Ryan made it a family double as he and Danny Hughes of Seaview lifted the Colin Perry memorial pairs title. They were 3-1 winners over the Harper’s “B” pairing of David Taylor and Steven Nicolson.

Maximums were hit in the latter stages by Ryan Campbell (Seaforth) and Ryan Campbell (Seaview) as well as Alison Tait. Seaview’s Ryan Campbell had a 125 checkout.
