Last Friday marked the end of the season for the Reay golf juniors.

Although the number of coaching sessions was much less this year, a medal competition was held for all those who had taken part in coaching throughout August. Competitors aged from five to 12 had fun playing on a slightly cold but dry evening.

Some of the younger golfers competed on the junior course. The one-hole girls' competition was won by Sophie Leslie, while the three-hole girls’ event was a tie between Ava Kelly and Chloe Mezals.

For the boys, the winner with a fine score of 15 was Scott Wyllie.

On the main golf course, Luke Taylor won the three-hole competition with a great score of 22. Dylan Mackenzie won in the four-hole competition for primary age and Reece McKeller was the winner in the secondary age category.

Everyone is already looking forward to starting the next season in May 2021.
