PICTURES: Miller Academy Primary pupils all smiles after Active Schools netball double
Miller Academy Primary pupils were at the double last Thursday, claiming two trophies in a Thurso Active Schools netball competition.
Over 100 pupils took part in the competition at Mount Pleasant Primary, which was noted for some fantastic play throughout the day.

Miller Academy’s A and B teams both came out victorious in each of their fixtures and tournaments, claiming the Thurso Towns’ Cup, and Thurso Towns’ Plate, respectively.
The winner of the Rural Cup was Castletown A.
Miller Academy Primary head teacher, Mrs Budge, said: “We are very grateful to Mount Pleasant’s head teacher, Mrs Urquhart, for once again hosting the netball tournament and to all of those involved from High Life Highland and Thurso High School, in ensuring that this could take place.
“Our teams very much enjoyed their games and we are hugely indebted to our volunteer coaches and staff, Mrs So, Mrs Hutcheon and Ms Unger.”
