Thurso-based AG Coaching teamed up with Inverness Caledonian Thistle for a training day that was attended by around 75 youngsters at the Dammies.
Caley Thistle coaches Lewis Maclean and Craig Shand were joined by local lad Sam Reid, who is an academy player at the SPFL League One club.
Children were divided into three age groups – 5-7, 8-10 and 11-16. Players of the day were Jack Gardner, Lachie Wann, Robbie Calder, Harry Miller, Myah Macleod and Brodie Bain.
Alyn Gunn, who launched AG Coaching last year, said: “Once again it was a great pleasure to have the coaches come up to Thurso through AG Coaching. The youngsters had a great time.
“It was also great to have Sam along. He is a great success story for the camps that we put on, as that was where the Caley team initially saw his qualities before taking him into their academy set-up.
“Many thanks to all sponsors and parents for putting their children along and for the continued support.”
The training day was sponsored by Davie Smith Town and Country Groundworks and Liam McLean Joinery.
At the end of July, coaches from the Manchester United academy joined AG Coaching for two days of training with 90 children taking part.
Prior to that, the Rangers Soccer Academy had provided two days of coaching for 85 youngsters.
