Main's medal as Sanders wins latest round of Summer League at Thurso

This week's winner in the A&A Mackay Builders Summer League at Thurso Golf Club was George Sanders (handicap 20), beating Steven Osborne (12) on countback with 38 points.

Keith Dreaves (13), Jim Sangster (1) and Ronnie Gray (11) all had 37 points, one ahead of Chris Sinclair (16).

On Saturday Andrew Main was the winner of the July Medal and had the lowest gross of the day, 75.

Main reached the turn in one over par after a birdie at the seventh. He played steadily on the back nine to record a nett 68.

Davie Calder (16), Gavin Souter (15) and Jordan Youngson (7) all had nett 69s.
