Manager Steven Mackay resigns from Brora Rangers after being hammered 6–2 by Fraserburgh at Bellslea

Brora Rangers have confirmed Steven Mackay has stepped down as manager of the Highland League champions.

His departure was confirmed after the Cattachs suffered a 6–2 thrashing at Fraserburgh on Saturday afternoon.

Assistant manager Craig Campbell will take temporary charge until a permanent replacement is confirmed.

The club released a statement which said: "It was with much regret that the club accepted the resignation and acknowledge the tremendous contribution that Steven made whilst at the helm."
