Wick and District Darts League held its Christmas Cracker singles competition in Harper's Bar on Tuesday night, with £300 of drink prizes on offer across the three divisions.
Young Kara Sutherland stopped a gallant run by Julie Harper to win the ladies' section. Jordan Oag doubled up from the previous week's pairs triumph, taking the second division title.
He had a mountain to climb as he found himself 0-2 down against home player Sandy Robertson but in a real humdinger Oag battled back to win, leaving Robertson to ponder on what might have been.
In the top flight there were early exits for some top players such as Stewart Tait and Graham Crowe.
It was Seaview's Kevin Macgregor who hauled in the top prize in a cracking final against Harper's player Martin Nicolson in a game that could have gone either way.
