Wick Wheelers wrap up 2024 season with hill climb as Iain Nicholson claims victory

Wick Wheelers have had their last competition of the 2024 season – the always-challenging hill climb.

While it is the shortest event, it is also the hardest as it requires a flat out effort up Newton Hill from a standing start.

Five riders took part but once again Iain Nicholson was a clear winner from Hamish MacAllan with Iain Miller third.

Times: Iain Nicholson 1.19; Hamish MacAllan 1.30; Iain Miller 1.39; Stuart Swanson 1.49; James Munro 1.56.
