High scores at riding club dressage competition

A recent dressage league competition held by Caithness Riding Club was well attended with a number of riders getting outstanding scores.

In the Prelim 14 test the senior winner was Alison Wild, riding Cookie Bain, after they achieved 70 per cent, while in the Novice 30 class Meghan Blackwood and Bob took the honours with 72.6 per cent.

The competition was held at the indoor riding school, Halkirk, and the judge for the day was Kimberley Battleday.

Intro A: Isla Miller, 61.5 per cent. Intro B: I Miller, 62.3. Prelim 12 – Juniors: Liam Mackenzie, 66.4. Seniors: 1 Alison Wild, 68.3; 2 Lesley Forrest, 67.5; 3, Jordan Crawford, 66.6; 4 Maureen Coghill, 66.4; 5 Ruth Alexander, 65.1; 6 Emma Coghill, 63.3.

Prelim 14 – Juniors: L Mackenzie, 68.9. Seniors: 1 A Wild, 70; 2 J Crawford 67.2; 3, L Forrest, 66.8; 4 M Coghill, 64.7; 5 E Coghill 61.6.

Novice 28 – Juniors: 1 Rowan Lee, Pedro, 68.9; 2 R Lee, Teddy, 68.1. Seniors 1st Meghan Blackwood, 70.8; 2 Gabby Ivey 66.4. Novice 30 – Juniors: 1 R Lee, Teddy, 68.4. 2 R Lee, Pedro, 64.4.
