Heather Carberry is this year’s winner of the Bambi Award presented by the Caithness branch of the Riding for the Disabled Association.

She received the trophy at the annual general meeting of Caithness RDA held in the Ulbster Arms Hotel, Halkirk.

Bambi was a pony used by the RDA and the trophy was presented in her memory in 2002 by the late Elizabeth Rae. It is presented to a Caithness branch volunteer for outstanding contribution to the group.

Isobel Cameron won the award last year.
