Hardy local riders brave the rain for combined training event

Rain failed to deter a good number of riders from taking part in a recent competition held at Sibster Mains, Wick.
Organised by Caithness Riding Club, the combined training involved dressage and showjumping classes on Saturday, October 9, a particularly wet day.
The event saw some new faces and a couple of riders taking young horses along to their first outing with the club.
A total of 37 dressage tests were ridden on the outdoor arena with Kimberley Battleday the judge for the day. The senior combined training champion was Mary Miller riding Poppy, with Fearne McCarthy and Boo coming top in the junior section.
