Stewart Gunn came out on top at Thurso Golf Club after the last round of the summer league, sponsored by A&A Mackay Builders, on Saturday.

Saturday's round was won by Dane Nicolson on 37 points, with Andrew Main overall second also with 37 points.

Main finished third overall in the summer league on 332 points, behind Gunn (335) and Roddy Gray (333) in second.

A total of 1357 rounds were played by 138 different players over the course of the summer league.

On Sunday, the Stuart Campbell Open was won by Harvey Cowe (16) with a fantastic nett 64. Seven pars on the front nine saw Harvey out in three over par.

After a seven at the 10th, he bounced back with a birdie two at the difficult 12th, then a steady run for the next six holes was more than enough to win.

Overall second was Callum Machlen (14) who birdied the 14th to return a nett 70. Graeme Henderson (5), Walter Rutherford (9) and Inverness Kings golfer S Chisholm (3) all had nett 70 as well.

In overall sixth was Michael Smith (3) from Reay.
