Forss overcome Halkirk in open competition

Watten Indoor Bowling Club recently held their open day competition with 13 teams participating. In the semi-finals Forss narrowly beat Watten, while Halkirk beat Bower. Forss beat Halkirk in the final by 11 shots to three. Jim Barnetson (centre) presented the trophies, along with the Jim Barnetson Shield, to the winning team comprising (from left) – P. Macdonald, W. Manson, A. Paton and P. Mackay.
