Final week of Caithness Amateur First Division will be delayed

The final week of the Caithness Amateur First Division has been delayed to allow rearranged matches to be played.

The final round of matches will take place on Tuesday, August 23.

The Caithness Amateur Football Association has confirmed the final round of matches has been moved back seven days and will now take place on Tuesday, August 23.

The final week of matches was originally meant to take place on Tuesday, August 16.

However last night, the match between Thurso Acks and Wick Groats was abandoned, after manager Craig Trueman suffered a serious knee injury.

The rearranged match between Thurso Acks and Wick Groats will now be played on Tuesday, August 16 at The Dammies.

Wick Thistle and Pentland United will still play their rearranged match at Upper Bignold on Friday night.

The Highland Amateur Cup final between High Ormlie Hotspur and Pentland United will also still be played on Saturday, August 20.
