‘Fantastic’ response for out of hat triples at Rosebank Bowling Club
The response from bowlers across Caithness was “a cut above” at Rosebank Bowling Club’s Out of Hat Triples on Sunday August 18.
The competition, sponsored by Thurso hair salon Hair at 21, was won by the trio of Mark Banks (Rosebank), Robert Carter (Lybster) and Jamie Durrand (St Fergus).
Runners-up on the day were were Ailish McNeil, dad Paul McNeil and Mark Thain (Rosebank).
Roz Hook, proprietor of competition sponsors Hair at 21 presented the prizes and the trophy to the victors after the match.
A club spokesperson said: “What a fantastic day of bowls with thanks to our sponsors by Hair at 21.
“Thank you to everyone that took part in the out the hat triples and a big thanks to the people who helped run the competition and make it such a great day. Well done to everyone, and many thanks to Roz for your continued support.”
