They will face High Ormlie Hostpur in the final after they stunned holders Wick Groats 2–1 in Castletown.

The final will take place at Harmsworth Park in Wick on Saturday, August 20.

It wasn't looking good for Pentland United at half time as Ness were 2–0 up.

Titch Morrison put the Lewis and Harris League outfit in front after 11 minutes with Micheil Russell Smith doubling their advantage with a 30-yard free kick which sailed into the bottom left corner.

But Pentland United fought back with Marc MacGregor reducing the deficit to one after 63 minutes.

James Murray levelled the score six minutes before the end of normal time.

The Stabbies stormed extra time with goals from Marc MacGregor, Murray and Owen Bain to progress to the final.
