Elder achieves fastest time of day in eighth round of Caithness Autocross Club season

Gary Elder in his twin-engined Mini special achieved fastest time of the day (2.02.94) in Caithness Autocross Club's eighth event of the season at Towerhill on Sunday.

Jake Anderson was second fastest (2.05.84) in his MG Honda, with Gordie Donn third (2.07.06) in the Honda Civic.

Ewan Durrand in the Citroën C1 took first place among the juniors (2.15.57) and was 10th overall.

There was an entry of 34 drivers.

Other class winners were Immy Durrand, Angus Manson, Ben Swanson, Michelle Anderson, Olly Scott, Carol Swanson, Johnny Omand, Michael Cragg and Gary Buchan.
