Dounreay Fly Fishing Association members land silverware

Dounreay Fly Fishing Association (DFFA) held its annual general meeting and trophy presentation in the Brown Trout Hotel. Club chairman Bill Baxter welcomed the members before inviting vice-president John Briskham to present the awards for the club's 2019 competitions.

Winners – Bank League: Loch Calder, Rusty Cup, Alex Donald (heaviest fish, Alex Donald).

Toftingall, Bloody Foreigner Trophy, Tony Chalmers (heaviest fish, Tony Chalmers).

Loch Watten, Robertson Cup, James Simpson (heaviest fish, James Simpson).

Loch Caluim, Ken MacLeod Trophy, Toby Bracey (heaviest fish, Ian Cannop).

Hill Lochs, Iain Hay Trophy, Tony Chalmers (heaviest fish, Neil Clyne).

Boat League: Loch Watten (day one), President's Quaich, Angus MacDonald (heaviest fish, James Simpson).

The chairman Bill Baxter then announced that the 2019 committee wished to propose that vice-president John Briskham be awarded life membership of DFFA. This was unanimously approved by the members.
