Eleven couples competed in the Randall, a mixed foursome competition at Thurso Golf Club, sponsored by J A Mackay.

Rachel and Ben Durrand played well throughout with an impressive five birdies on their card but a lost ball on the last hole ended any hope of them retaining the trophy. Despite this they still finished with a score of 70, securing them third place.

Pipping them to second place, by the better inward half, were Karen Hanna and Gary Leonard. It took them a few holes to warm up but after that it was a steady round, finishing with pars on the last three holes.

Winners with a 69 were Jane and Alan Coghill. They played well right from the start. A lost ball on the 15th was the only blip in their round but they quickly recovered from that, parring the next two holes to secure them the title.
