Caithness Krakens look to continue good form when they head to Orkney
But coach Mike Flavell knows they will have to work hard if they are to prevail in the North Caley 2 tussle.
He acknowledges that last Saturday's cricket score they racked up at home to Moray in their opening match was not the ideal preparation. Records tumbled in the record 128-7 win at Millbank in which Caitlin Harvey ran in six of the 20 tries.
"It wasn't the best preparation for this Saturday," said Flavell.
"For large parts of the game, it was three passes, try, kick-off, three passes, try, kick-off. "Our defence was hardly ever tested." Harvey had her first touchdown within a minute of Moray kicking off and had three under her belt within 15 minutes. Despite being rested for lengthy periods, the full back contrived to pouch another three.
The match provided a high-scoring senior debut for 17-year-old Tamsin Rosie.
The scrum half, who turned out for Scottish under 18s last year, claimed four touchdowns.
Other try scorers were Carly Erridge(3), Lauren Gunn(2), Karlyn Gemmill(2), Devin Stuart(2), and Holly Trick. Erridge converted eight to end with a personal haul of 31 points. The other six conversions were shared between Rosie and Gemmill.
Beleaguered Moray at least avoided being grannied after Bronwyn Johnson just before the interval crossed for a try converted by Molly Toner.
While the Krakens were rarely tested in defence, Flavell was pleased with their ball retention and distribution
He said: "I thought we had some nice running lines and that we had some good pace and worked the ball out wide pretty quickly." Number eight Emmy Smith should return to the squad for the trip to Orkney. Helen Richard remains unavailable.
