Caithness Disability Sports Group holds annual awards ceremony

Caithness Disability Sports Group held its annual awards presentation and annual dinner in Thurso's Pentland Hotel last weekend.

The awards were sponsored by voluntary chairman Willie Mackay and his wife Glynis.

Awards winners were Claire Madden and Aaron Mahon, athletics; Lynn Garioch and Aaron Mahon, boccia; Elizabeth Mappin and Clive Mappin, bowling; and Tracy Mackenzie and Brian Allan, swimming.

A further five medals were also awarded for endeavour to Gordon Smith, Kirsteen Campbell, Malcolm Moodie, Louise Forbes and Shane Thompson. Overall winner was Louise Forbes.
