Breezy conditions as just two riders break 30 minutes in Wick 10-mile TT
Seven riders took part in Wick Wheelers’ second time trial of the season on a cool night.
With a south-easterly wind helping on the outward leg but making the return leg much harder, Stuart Anderson made light of the conditions to win by nearly two minutes from Danny Miller.
These were the only two riders to break the 30 minute barrier in the 10-mile TT.
Kev Stewart rode his first ever time trial and found the going tough but recorded a respectable 34.09.
James Munro and George Ewing continued their friendly rivalry, with James coming out on top by only five seconds.
Lisa Coghill and Stephanie MacNeil both improved from the previous week to finish first and second in the ladies.
Times: 1 Stuart Anderson, 23 min 29 secs; 2 Danny Miller, 25.19; 3 James Munro, 30.45; 4 George Ewing, 30.50; 5 Lisa Coghill, 32.58; 6 Kev Stewart, 34.09; 7 Stephanie MacNeil, 34.57.
